Reba learned one of the greatest lessons someone had ever taught her from her mother. When they were on the way to a performance that was about to be held in a dance hall in their town, Reba asked her mother for permission if she could encourage everyone, who would be watching them perform, to go to church on Sunday. Her mother did not directly reject her idea, but instead, she said, “You don’t know what other people do. You don’t know their heart”.
