“A Complete Nutjob”
David had decided to take it upon himself to fix all the potholes which seemed to form overnight since no one else did, and he did this for years. A conscientious neighbor, David constantly worried that an accident might happen, and he didn’t want to see anybody getting hurt. However, his neighbors thought of it in another way… In fact, the neighbors were somehow convinced that David should have an asphalt road lay down instead.

Passing The Responsibility
This was to be done on David’s account, of course. Naturally, he refused to do so, and for good reason. And so, fast-forward 20 years and the road is still made of gravel. No one wanted to pay for it to be paved with asphalt. David’s daughter said, “Everybody here is a complete nutjob.” She could not remember a time when the neighbors and her father were not in dispute. The dispute went so far back that it actually started generations earlier.
