While renovating a house in Minnesota, the owner found an old copy of Action Comics No.1 from 1938. They were able to sell it for $175,000 even though it had no back cover. It was located in the wall because it was used for insulation. In 2011, a copy in much better condition went for $2.16 million.

Magician’s Box
A mover could not help but wonder what on earth the 6-foot-long box with three small boxes was for. The boxes each had openings on the other side, as well as metal railings that sounded like train track noises. He was bothered by it but it made sense when he learned that the client was actually a magician.
