Weeks after the tragedy, she recorded her 16th album with MCA Nashville Records that was dedicated to all of her band members that passed away due to the plane crash. The album was titled “For My Broken Heart”. It contained sad songs that really showed the world how devastated Reba McEntire was because of her loss. Looking at the brighter side, most of the songs in that album dominated in several music charts.

One of the moments that really got her name spreading all over the world happened in a CMA Award Show. When she went on the stage with the well-known singer, Linda Davis, whom she worked with to record the song she was getting an award for, tons of people were in awe of her outfit. She was wearing a red sexy dress that really looked good with her. The dress went viral and even made its way to be displayed at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum – yes, it was displayed at a museum, it was that legendary!
