In the latter part of the 1980s, Reba McEntire was one of the first people in her town who tried the concept of making a music video. With all of her hard work, along with the company of MCA Nashville Records, the music video turned out great. A lot of people adored how her music videos appeared like films. All the compliments about her acting skills that were showcased in the videos which she heard from the fans and the critics motivated her to establish a career in the acting industry. Well, being the talented woman she had always been, people looked forward to it.

A Dream Come True
A few years after letting the media know about her plans on establishing a career in the acting industry, she was invited to star in the 1990 horror film touched with science fiction, Tremors. She starred along with other actors and actresses such as Finn Carter, Kevin Bacon, Fred Ward, and Ariana Richards. In the movie, she played the role of Heather Gummer. In the interview that took place after the premiere of the film, Reba shared how happy she was with the way her acting turned out. However, it seemed like one of her co-actors had an opposing opinion – well, she simply ignored that and thought that for a first timer in the acting industry, she was not that bad.
