This was in order to prevent accidents and allow the drivers to use the road safely without damaging David’s property. However, rather than tell all the rude neighbors off, David thought of a compromise to offer them. After all, he was a reasonable man.

In an attempt to appease his neighbors, David offered another 3-square-foot plot on his own land so that the turn around his property could be easier on drivers when they navigate the tricky gravel road. However, the ill-tempered residents threw the gesture of goodwill right back in David’s face without thinking twice. That was not even the worst part either. Since David sacrificed the corner of his land, he watched in horror as different drivers swerved closer to his property.
