No one knew the law better than David, so he kept his cool and told the neighbor that since it was his property and the neighbors knew this, he had all the right to put the barrels there. His neighbor threatened him and said that he would call the police, and even worse, he told him to watch out because he could get a “pickaxe to the back.” But still, the fight wasn’t over.

The barrels worked initially and seemed to protect his property, but they would soon get damaged after being hit by so many passing cars. So, the barrels broke down and stopped working after a year, as expected. He had to come up with something different, but after realizing that the war wasn’t going to be won so easily, he knew he had to take his game up a notch, and so one night he did something that would finally teach a lesson to his neighbors.
