This is one more example of Kate Middleton wearing the same dress, but she later added cap sleeves to the floral gown from Alexander McQueen. She first wore it to the 2017 BAFTAs and then once more when she went to the Portrait Gala in March last year. The dress had off-the-shoulder straps when she first wore the dress. She did have it altered to look less formal with the addition of sleeves for the second appearance. We like them both!

You might be surprised to hear this, but their visit to King’s College in London last March served as the first solo outing of Queen Elizabeth II and Kate Middleton. Unlike previous affairs, they were not joined by other members of the royal family. The duchess must have decided to subdue her outfit to let Her Majesty stand out. Kate wore a gray coatdress from Catherine Walker, while the Queen sported a baby pink outfit. On top of that, the duchess had a black clutch, fascinator, heels, and tights.
