Rejecting the offer of starring in Titanic seemed like a blessing in disguise as she got all the time to focus on her music career and improve as an artist. During the same year, she released her 20th album that was titled “What If It’s You”. It was a successful album and most of its songs had risen to the top of music charts. The song that topped many charts was “The Fear of Being Alone”. Well, all of the profit that she earned from the success of her album went directly to the Christian church, Salvation Army. That gesture just proved how kind and generous Reba McEntire is.

She dominated the world once again as 2001 came around. With MCA Nashville Records, she managed to release another successful album that was titled “Greatest Hits Vol. 3: I’m a Survivor”. She eventually released a few more singles that also became successful before announcing her hiatus – yes, she went on a break from producing new songs so that she could take time to focus on her acting career for a while. She starred in “Annie Get Your Gun”, a musical by Dorothy Fields and Herbert Fields.
