What They Found
Arnaud stayed perfectly still while he put his hand on the door handle. He didn’t breathe, fearing he would make noise and give himself away. He communicated to the other boys that they had to be ready for whatever they would find inside. Slowly and carefully, he opened the door silently. What he saw then had him reeling. What was it that they saw inside that stairwell? Did they find the two men and the girl?
What They Found
Finding Them
What the boys found was by far not what they expected. They combed through the dark parking lot. They looked in between each car, searching for any sort of trace of the girl. There were many hiding places there, and the boys knew that. The teens did their best to be as thorough as they could. The men could have been anywhere inside that parking lot. In fact, the boys were soon getting distraught, wondering if they had gotten there in time.
