Recently, Blackfish investigation exposed fishermen who kidnapped baby whales from the sea and traded them in places like Sea World for money. The history of Sheila is sad, and not all that odd. Almost all of these species are not properly cared for and inevitably live brief, unhappy lifetimes, as animals are constantly abused for entertainment. Sheila’s rescuers had hoped she wouldn’t suffer the same tragedy.

Handing Over To Experts
As Sheila was in poor shape, the U.S. Department of Agriculture agreed to hand her over to an animal rehabilitation group named the In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue and Education Centre. It is a company that assists with the rescue of stranded animals and their care. The news hasn’t been healthy.
