Kahn felt secure in the In-Sync rescue center. He became so powerful that the workers in the center constructed a cinder-block staircase for him to get into his shelter quite comfortably. Now he has plenty of room to develop and relax. Kahn’s tiny cage was contrasting in the setting.

Now Kahn needed a friend he could play with. Lions are very social animals who like to be in packets, so it is exceptionally distressing that Kahn and Sheila are so long isolated from other lions. When Kahn and Sheila were put side by side, they immediately formed a bond. This relationship inspired Sheila’s recovery. Kahn’s battle spirit began to rub against her.
