While David Toborowsky was on holiday in Thailand, he met Annie at a karaoke bar. He was smitten with her when she performed “Like an Angel.” He asked her to marry him only ten days after that. She said yes! Sadly, things were rough for the new husband and wife. He was not doing well financially due to his previous divorce. Viewers also called her a “sugar baby” as her family made him pay a big dowry.

A couple of years later, David finally paid her family $25,000 or so. Apart from that strange payment, the two of them are doing well. They now live in the United States.
