The truth was that he and Pawn Stars star Corey Harrison had known each other for a long time already. Among others, they used to spend time together at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, which was operated by Rick Harrison, Corey’s dad. Their friendship came with certain benefits, you know.

For one thing, Chumlee was able to begin working there by the time he was 21 years old. True enough, working at a pawn shop requires a certain type of precision. In reality, however, it is still primarily menial work more than anything else.
