Calluses
While they are not a serious health concern, when applying pressure while walking, calluses can cause pain and discomfort. Studies have recently shown that soaking your calluses in a baking soda bath can help soften them, eliminate scabbing, and decrease discomfort.

Oil Or Grease Fire
Did you know that there’s baking soda in some fire extinguishers? Baking soda reacts to heat, creating carbon dioxide that smooths and extinguishes fire. That means baking soda can sometimes be used to extinguish small oil and grease fires. But don’t expect baking soda to spread big fires. They absorb more oxygen, counteracting the effects of baking soda. Call for help when in doubt.
